Hi, I’m Lisa!

The idea for A Little Fit Nervous actually started with a conversation I had with a close friend. We were talking about going to the gym, and she mentioned feeling really anxious – worried about not knowing what to do, being judged, or just standing out. As she spoke, I realized that even after 10+ years of going to different gyms and trying various workouts, I still feel those nerves too. Every time I walk into a new gym or think about trying a new workout, I get a little bit nervous. It reminded me that gym anxiety is something so many of us experience, regardless of how long we’ve been working out.

That’s why I created A Little Fit Nervous. I want to help people overcome those gym jitters and feel more confident in their fitness journey, whether you’re a complete beginner or someone with years of experience. Fitness isn’t about being fearless; it’s about showing up for yourself, even when you’re nervous. Through tips, encouragement, and real-life experiences, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

When I’m not at the gym, I’m living in Boston with my partner, Garth, and our playful dog, Loki. We love exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.

Let’s embrace the nerves together and take on new experiences with confidence, one workout at a time!
